CLIMATE SMART COTTON PROGRAM
MAXIMIZE BENEFITS +
DRIVE DEMAND FOR YOUR COTTON
The Veteran Cotton Farmers program aims to increase the number of military veterans gaining knowledge and skills of comprehensive agricultural practices so they can successfully and sustainably produce cotton crops that meet the needs of the market.

OUR SUPPORT SERVICES
Taking sustainability to the next step.
TECHNICAL + FINANCIAL SUPPORT
The program offers critical guidance and resources to help growers successfully implement Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices.
This provides growers with reduced input costs, allowing them to optimize their operations and improve profitability.
There is also potential for added revenue through contracting the sale of carbon insets.

IMPROVED SOIL HEALTH + YIELD IMPROVEMENTS
We focus on soil health and erosion reduction, helping veterans improve the long-term viability of their cotton farming operations.
By implementing CSA practices, growers have the potential to achieve yield improvements, enhancing their productivity and crop quality.
REDUCED EROSION
Growers can also decrease soil erosion, preserving soil quality and preventing sediment runoff into water bodies.
Adopting advanced nutrient management practices promoted by the program can aid in enhanced nutrient use efficiency, optimizing fertilizer inputs and minimizing environmental impacts.

COTTON GROWERS
Reduce CO2 emissions by 1.4M metric tons
